RULES OF CYFIN:
- before joining this site, you must be over the age of thirteen. it is not just a rule for this site, but for proboards as well.
- after you register, change your display name to your characters first and last name IN ALL CAPS
- for every two female characters you make, we ask that you make one male character to keep the ratios in order.
- canon's are available, but original characters are welcome as well, as long is they do not interfere with the canon's (for example, your original character cannot have hermione and draco as parents, ect) unless otherwise is agreed upon with the owners of the canons.
- all we ask is for a word limit of 200 words. we'd like this to be an intermediate to advanced site, and 200 words is a bare minimum. please no one liners, and no three sentence posts. beef it up! what is your character thinking? what is their physical reaction to what's around them?
- no anime or cartoon characters available for play-bys. we accept celebrities and models only. and for models, that means professional models, not scene queens or anyone famous on the internet, please.
- make sure you claim your play-by after your application has been accepted. please do not post anywhere until you have been accepted.
- this is a third person site, meaning that is is in the "he/she" form.
- if you are making a hogwarts student, it must be a 4th year or older.
- if you are making a hogwarts professor, they have to be at least twenty years old.
- if you are a hogwarts grad, your character should have a job. make sure to check the job claims!
- please don't join if you won't be active!
- if you want a pregnancy on this site, contact me on this account to discuss it. if you are still in school, not many students are going to be having children. adults are able to have kids and are accepted easier, but all pregnancies have to be accepted by cee or chip.
- any other major plot twists such as murders, death, ect need to be run by me or chip as well, please!
- please keep it PG-13. no roleplaying out graphic things- and by things you know what i mean. it's not our my rule, but again it's proboards TOS as well.
- in your application, please put "i can feel the magic floating in the air", so that we know you read through the rules.
- be realistic when roleplaying, and please no "perfect" characters. nobody is perfect. every character has flaws.
- please do not advertise in the c-box
- be friendly! if there is any sort of bullying, or rudeness going on, you will be given a warning. we're all friends here, and we will all be accepting and nice (:
- graphics- siggys: should not be any bigger than 500 px (in width) - height you can do with as you please, but please take into consideration that others have to scroll down! avatars: width 130 px max. height: 250 px. max. please don't stretch the page!
- most importantly- HAVE FUN! isn't that what roleplaying is all about?

we'd like for you guys to have a lot of freedom here, because we all dislike when admins are too controlling. so if you have any ideas, please let me or chip know! we're very open to anything, since we have a plot that leaves a lot open for the rper to work with!
